Once graduate students complete the coursework part of their programs, they should commence work on their graduate research projects in the succeeding trimester. (Students in research-only programs embark on graduate research immediately on admission). Graduate research in M.Phil and PhD programs is required to have more rigor than in PgD and Masters Programs. As such, the research process for M.Phil and PhD programs is slightly differently from that of PgD and Masters Programs.
